TPU medical‑grade modification features excellent biocompatibility (passing cytotoxicity and other relevant tests), functional properties such as antibacterial, radiopaque and hydrophilic‑lubricating performance. While retaining high elasticity and strength, the material offers favorable processability for extrusion, injection molding and 3D printing.

 

Main Uses

Catheters: Leveraging its flexibility as well as antibacterial and hydrophilic‑lubricating modifications, it is used for central venous catheters, urinary catheters and similar products.

Implantable devices: Thanks to its biological stability, it is applied in long‑term implants such as cardiac pacing leads and artificial heart valves.

Tissue repair: Electrospun into high‑porosity scaffolds for bone or cartilage tissue engineering.

Medical components: Used for precision parts including orthodontic appliances, Luer connectors and surgical instrument grips.
